And how about Clint Eastwood’s The Mule.

That’s gotta be the sleeper hit of the season.

I think that it'll do about what Infinity War did, maybe slightly more due to inflation and rising ticket costs. I don't expect it to be substantially different.

Well, I know at least one disgruntled moviegoer who went to see INFINITY WARS and will be staying away from ENDGAME. :wave-hello:
I've spoken to other people who didn't like the movie but I don't know if they're going to skip ENDGAME or not.

Surprise #1 for The Upside. Perhaps the Oscar controversies helped.

Box Office Pro giving an early opening weekend prediction for Captain Marvel of $140M+.
Keep in mind that that same site was projecting an opening weekend of $35-50 million and a total domestic gross of $250-300 million for Mary Poppins Returns. In reality, it had a $23 million opening weekend and probably won't break $200 million.

But if we apply the same downward revision (65 percent of the lower estimate) to those Captain Marvel numbers, we're still looking at a $92 million opening weekend. That would put it fifth (behind only Black Panther, Iron Man, Spider-Man: Homcoming, and Guardians of the Galaxy) when it comes to first MCU movies in a subfranchise, and third (behind only Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy) if you exclude characters that had already appeared onscreen in other MCU movies.

I doubt that. I suspect that Hart's fans don't care about what his tweets say and they showed up same as they would have if the controversy had never happened.
