And the next, and the next and... Don’t forget who the owners are.

Can you believe that CBS is going to pay Tony Romo 17M per year for their broadcasts? I'm sure they were trying to keep him away from ESPN/Disney. He's good, but damn.

Good work if you can get it. I used to think he was really good when he first got in the booth- now he wears a little thin on me.

He talks too much. John Madden was the highest paid analyst at 8M per season. Nobody top that until Rono. Even if you factor inflation Romo's per year salary is still 14M compared to Madden's 8M.

I am not that big of a fan of Romo as an analyst, so that's crazy of CBS in my opinion. I think that other former Dallas QB is much better. Aikman must be salivating waiting for his contract renewal.

Yes Aikman is the best analyst for NFL games.

TBH, I’m sick of former Cowboy QBs.

I have no love for the Cowboys, either, but I like Aikman as an analyst. It's similar to my feelings towards Kirk Herbstreit on the college broadcasts. I hate that he's a former Buckeye, but think he is an excellent college football analyst.

I hate listening to Aikman especially during Cowboys games.

Do you think Aikman openly roots for the Cowboys while he’s working? I never felt that way about his opinions or insights.

Yes! Perhaps it’s me because of my deep anti-Cowboys bias. However, I don’t think Aikman is that good.

I definitely think Romo waves the silver and blue pom poms during Cowboys games.

As a Cowboys fan, I'm pretty happy with both of them. :)

What impressed me about Romo during one game (I don't recall the specifics but I don't think it was a Cowboys game) he was analyzing the defensive formation in real time and describing how the offense should attack the defense and what he described ensued at the snap of the ball. (For me, a real 'Kreskin' moment.)

I think Aikman is pretty even handed. He some insight into the Cowboys that might color his comments a little bit, but nothing that is too egregious in my opinion. Sometimes I think Aikman is bit too reticent to criticize certain things that happen during a game; but I think he is trying to be fair.

In terms of Xs and Os I prefer Romo to Aikman.

    - Walter.

It’s even more as the final contract terms for Romo is 10/180M.

I think Romo is great as an analyst. That said, that is a ridiculous amount of money....

One of the latest mock drafts has the Redskins selecting the Alabama QB at #2, and Chase Young falling into the lap of the Lions at #3.
Patricia would love for this to happen, but I can’t see the Skins giving up on Haskins this quickly.
