Despite of having two “high profile” teams this World Series is more boring then dirt.

The WS in the past felt special no matter what teams were there.
Not anymore. Nw it’s just kind of there.
I think part of it is the broadcast.
It’s just ordinary.
Buck and Smoltz are a big part of it.
Smoltz doesn’t have any gravitas and Buck doesn’t have the tone to call baseball.

I’m not sure if there is anyone anymore who has the gravitas to make a World Series feel like a big deal now.

Back to speculation.

What if every player of 9 has to rotate past all 9 positions during the 9 innings. Say a player started at first base. Next inning he'd play 2nd base, then 3rd base, etc. etc. until he pitches the last inning.

We must be watching different games...

But I can agree that the broadcasts aren't very good.

IDK. That HR by Bradley Jr. in the 8th inning and all of the extra frames since then have made this Game 3 exciting for me. But I haven't been watching. Listening to the game on the ESPN radio app.

What an absolutely weird inning -- has to be the 13th and near Halloween.

I think it's justified for the game to be tied, but this is the most bizarre series of strange things I've ever seen in a playoff game.
14th Inning -- Ghost of Babe Ruth and 1916 series

Ed. Nunez deserves a Purple Heart for just surviving. Boston's going end up playing the game with 8 players by the end -- if that's even allowed anymore. I think Sale and Pomeranz are the only 2 guys left for Boston if someone gets hurt.

At least LA appears to have 7 players of some variety left.

The players are all getting tired. Pitchers are throwing wild balls, catchers are bobbling things, fielders are throwing wild. This game may be decided on errors.
