While I wouldn't mind if others wanted to count them, it comes down to my personal rules about such things. To me, it has to have been made for television to count as television. Otherwise, it's a movie.

I hope you get back into BABYLON 5 soon enough to see the brilliant series finale and share your thoughts on it with the rest of us. Since you seem to enjoy sci-fi, have you by any chance done FARSCAPE? I'm almost midway through Season 1 and loving it!

Thanks for the info on B5. Now I am very interested in watching the final 12 episodes i have left in S5, so i can see that finale. I wasn't abandoning it just felt i needed something else to watch for abit. I will see if i can finish B5 over the weekend and let you know what i thought of the finale.

As for Farscape, A big yes i watched the entire run a few years back. It was fantastic, your in for a real treat as with B5 S1, I think Farscape while good in S1 starts off slow and really gets going in S2. I look forward to going through Farscape again one day. I loved it!

Sure, do what you like, but personally I wouldn't count the Stooges as TV either; they're theatrical film shorts. I'm actually going through them right now, but I'm keeping my tally over in the TRACK YOUR FILMS section!

That's what I thought too, but they were on TV. It's a tough choice. I don't think I will count them in this list either.

The Twilight Zone (S1) - "The Fever" Good
The Twilight Zone (S1) - "The Last Flight" Good

I'm trying to establish a routine of watching a Twilight Zone or two every Saturday Night, for my "Horror & Sci-Fi Saturdays"...

Do any of you have any type of established pattern for how you watch your TV shows? Special shows on certain nights, or days of the week? Do you usually just go with the flow spontaneously?

What I do is just pick a show and watch a season of it. I'm watching Gunsmoke and Cheyenne right now. Which is rare for me to have 2 seasons going at once

I actually have a "To Watch" list, which I started when I realized watching several shows at the same time wasn't working for me, because anytime I had the opportunity to spend a little time in front of a DVD, I'd waste half an hour making up my mind on what to watch, and finding what was the last episode I saw of each show. Now, I only watch one show at a time, and my list should take me at least to April, with an average of three TV seasons per month. I'm currently watching FARSCAPE Season 1 and have MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE Season 1 scheduled next.

Having this list is as far as this goes though, I do not have special moments of the week devoted to watching DVDs, I do it when I have the time to.

I used to do the same thing! What I did was made a list of shows by year. Right now I'm in 1955 with Gunsmoke Season 1 and Cheyenne Season 1. Next is 1956 with Hitchcock Presents Season 2. I just started doing this rotation in December, so far it seems to be ok. I'm going to mix in Star Trek and Doctor Who periodically too because those franchises are long.

Well, I have gotten back into Babylon 5. My third viewing of some seasons, but my 2nd viewing from starting at the beginning and going through in order. Wonderful Series, and highly recommended. Also, I have just finished the 10th episode of Surface and I was on the edge of my seat, what a fun show. Now sure how it ends before it was canceled, but right now I think the show is very entertaining.

It's a combination of both for me. I've had less time lately to watch television or TV-on-DVD (but I'll add those to the master list when I do) and most of my returning favorites are all back this month (with the exception of one: "Doctor Who"; whenever Sci-Fi airs the "David Tennant" specials).

I never usually have time to watch TV regularly, what with university, working and studying, so will either watch a show on dvd or one I downloaded, especially as in UK and most shows I watch are American. I will however try and watch Casualty every Saturday night. If only they didnt change the time every week
