No Friends nominations. Wah!
No Alan Rickman for Something the Lord Made.

No CSI, ER, The West Wing, Everybody Loves Raymond, or NYPD Blue nominations either. The nominating committee must think it's 2004 or something. :D

Finally, I really wish Curb Your Enthusiasm, Rescue Me or Gilmore Girls had snagged Sex and the City's best series nomination spot. At least we won't have to deal with that auto-nomination after this year.

Very happy to see the nip/tuck nominations. Especially Joely Richardson, who I feel plays Julia beautifully, with a lot of raw emotional display for the crises her charater goes through.

What time frame are these nominations covering? I'm confused about "24"'s nom and also Jennifer Garner's nom. The new seasons of 24 and Alias haven't even aired yet.

Can't believe American Dreams didn't get one nomination. Instead we get the same old, same old.

Well, this is from the Golden Globes and the Foreign Press Association. Why do people care about the GGs? It's just an excuse to throw a big party and invite celebs who work in TV/Film.

Spader is up for "Boston Legal", or did you mean another James?

I'm happy to see Denis Leary get the "Rescue Me" nom!

Poor Eva Langoria -- everyone else got a nom!

There was a film a few years back about what kind of sham the GG are; when the guy went around, he couldn't get anyone from the GG to go on camera and say who they were.. most had not seen films at all.

The James I'm referring to is James Gandolfini of The Sopranos. I'm surprised to see Edie up there, but not him.
