Having own 4 "1965" and a "68" I can only hope GM will not let us GTO fans down. It looks like it might be cool, but I'm not too sure about Aussie made, no offense it's just the GTO is an American muscle car classic.

Why does Pontiac make their cars all have the same looking front?

The rest of the body design is cool, but the front looks like any other Pontiac.

Very glad to see the Goat making a comeback. My very first car was a 1967 and it is still by far my favorite car I have ever owned.

I am a musclecar nut and I will always be.

I have owned 442's, three straight Fbodies (94 Formula, 95 TA, 98 WS6 TA) and nothing ever put a smile on my face like the GTO. (I would kill for another 67 or a 65!)

What makes me happy is they are giving it the HP it deserves. While I would like to see them but a supercharger or turbo on it to put the Cobra back in it's place I am happy!

It's basically a rebodied LS1 Camaro. The US version will only be automatic at first [IMG]. I like the way it looks, and I think it will be a pretty sweet car.

I think they should leave a great car alone until they can come up with something worthy of the badge. That just looks like a monte carlo [IMG]

I'd like to see it with about 360 HP, and a low 5 second 0-60 time to fully compete with the Cobra. Maybe GM will make an SS version with the Z06 engine (we can dream...).

The obvious handling advantage of the GTO is great, though the next generation Mustang should (it had better) have much improved handling.

My dad has a 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix, which I mainly drive now, its a good car. In the future, i'd really consider this when getting a car.. or maybe the Nissan 350Z [IMG]
Ohyeah, you say Pontiac's front ends all look the same, have you seen BMW's cars? [IMG] At least in pontiac, the Sunfire, Aztek, Vibe look different [IMG]

Sunfire = ugly [IMG] and lousy crash rating to boot.
Aztek = FUGLY [IMG] (one of the ugliest ever?)
Vibe = Toyota [IMG] I actually like the way it looks, better than the stupid looking sister car, the Matrix, IMO.
As for the Holden/GTO, there are already PLENTY of parts for the LS1 motor, so this thing should have no problem being made into a VERY quick car.
