No, I'm not. And you would do well to stop trying to read my mind and attempting to put words in my mouth that aren't mine.

This opening take-off of "Hey Ya" is quite possibly the stupidest thing I've ever seen/heard in my damn life.

In any event, got my laptop downstairs, and I'm set :)

Tim Robbins first up. Good choice, IMO...I thought his acting was even stronger than Penn's in Mystic River.

Tim Robbin's speech was the worst I have ever heard.

He deserved to win though in my opinion.

Are we allowed to post spoilers in this thread? I'm not sure if I should edit my post.

Crap, I forgot to set the VCR. Now I'm at work, so it's too late. :frowning: Keep posting those winners! :)

I don't think we have to use spoiler tags. As Edwin mentioned, you probably shouldn't come into the thread if the telecast isn't on where you are.

Though, it could be different. Every damn year I forget how we did it the year before.

I'm back at my computer and catching up with my Tivo. I'll be updating in as real time as possible once I get caught up.

Gia Carides is gorgeous! I've loved her since 1985's Bliss.

Just because I'm really shallow: Nicole's dress is nasty!

Supporting Actress: Renee

I don't care about the TV side of the GGs, but does anyone want the winners for them?

Nah...if anyone wants the TV stuff, they would probably be more suited for the TV forum.

The only one I care about is Best Drama Series.

If LOTR:ROTK is not the big winner tonight, it is a travesty IMHO!

Cold Mountain is good but it isn't LOTR caliber!
And Peter Jackson rules the world right now....

Oh yes, Meryl, Cate and Christina all look wonderful!

I love that millions of people are seeing scenes from Big Fish.

No wonder the score for Angels In America sounds so good; Thomas Newman scored it.

You must have missed Renee's, then. She's only won this award 12 times and she thanked everyone but her dry cleaner. The surpise is getting a little thin, although it's good to see her bulked up for once. Streep made up for it, though. God, that woman is a national living treasure.

I can't wait until Angels In America comes out on DVD. Then I can see it.

Peter Jackson was really sweet on the red carpet. Very humble.

Don't worry. LOTR will win Best Picture and Director.
