One problem...

Fritz Lang's "The Woman On The Moon" was made in 1928, not 1919. In fact, it's based partly on the original ending of the novel version of Metropolis. Freder and Maria were supposed to fly off to the moon to live happily ever after.

Thankfully, that mediocre ending to an other wise superb film was not to be.
