Exclusives usually are eligible closer to 60 days. The last exclusives ( Goofy Movie and Extremely Goofy) are 57 days now and aren't eligible for enrollment picks yet, but a CSR said it should be within a week -- maybe Friday, but I'm guessing Monday afternoon in more likely given their usual pattern

Post 70 of this thread I think should be the best current Promo codes --
    Basically 61749 ( incl. COCO blanket -- correction noted) and 55218 (w/ Jack-Jack blanket)
5 for $1 with 3 full priced requirements at reg price $19.95 or more
Bonus pick 1 11.95 counts as commit #1 so just 2 more over 24 months
    Bonus pick 2 8.95 -- not a commitment
Free Shipping on all orders supposedly forever.

I can't remember if Sales Tax was being charged by the time you cancelled last, but I think the FS was sort of an apology for having to add Sales Tax to about 30 states now

Of the states that charge Sales Tax these appear to still be exempt at DMC -- NY and FL shocked me honestly
No sales tax at DMC though that can change at anytime (plus the 5 no Tax states)

Let me back up here with this question...

If I RE-JOINED the club today, is the title available to ship? It doesn't have to be part of the intro selection. I just want to order it.

I am ready to rejoin if the title is available now.

How much is the title, BTW?

Wow I only Paid $90 for the 3 disc box set. Prices were higher for sure than now but I always preordered with a 20% discount. Most Laserdisc were list $29.99, $34.99 and $39.99 only about 15% ranged higher than that. I once had just over 2600 Laserdisc. Down to about 800 now.

This was in Canada, where there was no manufacturing and distribution system for laserdiscs, so everything was an import. Then factor in the exchange rate. The average price was around $40, with Warner being the cheapest at $30-35 and Fox the most expensive, usually $60-70.

Yes.. You could easily order 20000 Leagues (and/or Castaways) at $24.95 ea and they would even count for for your full priced commitment. With the above PROMO CODES, If you have 6 other eligible items to get for the initial picks and be eligible to order 20000 Leagues immediately -- if wanted Castaways then order both at 24.95ea+tax and you'd by enrolled and completely done with your commitments pretty much immediately, then eligible for some of the bigger discounts or even to cancel as soon as your items are delivered

Always hard to say, but probably -- : there have been 3 60% monthly offers out of the 8 cycles already this year so you would expect 2 more in the final 7 and the last cycle of the year (cycle 15) is very rare to get a 60%.

Looking at the last few years -- July (cycle 9) or Aug (cycle 10) USUALLY has one and then November (cycle 14) is the most common last cycle a 60%. Even 2017 where they has 60% in cycle 2/3/4/5, the put the last 6-% in cycle 10/August

Cycle 9 this year starts July 16 and Cycle 10 August 13

I am trying to join the club with the above code in post #201

The page states there is the opportunity to purchase two bonus titles at checkout, but I can only pick five

EDIT: Okay, I see what happens. You pick your additional titles after final confirmation and submission of membership.

The choice of bonus titles are limited to about 30. None were interesting to me.

I joined and then ordered 20,000 Leagues.

The Bonus Picks are limited to about 45, but not the final word. If you call or chat with them within a few hours they can add (or change) to almost any enrollment eligible title. Many people find the selected Bonus Titles less than stellar, but it's pretty easy to get a choice you want added to your order.

Otherwise it;s not a huge loss though it adds a 19.95+ requirement instead of something you should be able to get for 11.95

As soon as you account is live and you can sign in -- go to ACCOUNT Profile and there should be a OPEN CHAT button (usually from 11am- Noon to 8-9pm ET. I find it's much easier to use the chat than phone though both work. Just tell them "I just signed up and wasn't able to or allowed to choose my Bonus. Can you help me" Not entirely untrue and works 95% of the time

I wonder if Disney will understand how many new customers they sign up just because of Castaways and Leagues. I certainly hope so and they will figure out the desire for more classic Uncle Walt movies on Blu-Ray.

I sincerely hope that there is a noticeable uptick in orders. Given that physical media is in decline and that the same transfers of these movies have been readily available for rental and purchase digitally for years, I'm a little skeptical that it would be more than a small blip on the radar, but I sincerely hope I'm wrong. As I find myself becoming more interested in availability overall vs. having something in a specific format, the classic Walt Disney stuff is one of those few exceptions where I really would prefer to have an actual physical object in my hands, and I hope that I'm not alone in that.

Rest assured you are not. Especially considering that we still don’t have any real indication that the Uncle Walt live action films will be available on Disney+ come Fall.

I find that hard to believe that those films won't be available on Disney+.

    Correct!

In fact, I would not surprised if we are finally seeing this Holy Grail title released to Blu-ray now is because it will be more widely available for HD viewing when Disney+ debuts.

You got that right. They probably think if there is money to be made in disc sales it will be now and not after the launch of the service.

Some people might watching the Disney Live Action Classics, but I think Disney's main target with this streaming service is towards Millennials and Gen Zer's as they'll be watching all the new Star Wars/Marvel series and all of the 2000's Disney Channel shows over the Golden Age library. As a Millennial myself, I'm very rare as I prefer the classics over today's current/modern stuff.
