Hi everybody!
I'm trying to decide which 20" flat screen tv to buy for myself (I'm a starving student) and I think I've narrowed it down to either the Toshiba 20AF42 or the Sony KV-20FS100. Here's the difference that matters: The Toshiba has s-video in, and the Sony has component. The Toshiba would cost me $235, while I can get the Sony for $220 (open box special at Best Buy). The picture on both sets looks fantastic to me.
My main sources will be my PC for DVDs and my game consoles. My vid card has s-video out (with an adapter for RCA), which makes the Toshiba a lot more convenient for me, since if I get the Sony I will be stuck using RCA until I get a stand-alone dvd player. Also, unless I find a good deal, I won't be buying expensive cables for a while. Which would you get, and why? Feel free to recommend another set if you don't like either of those.
