Folks, we have a chance to get a deal on a 20" LCD television set like this for $700:

    http://www.sharp-usa.com/products/Mo...58,751,00.html

As with all Home Theater Forum Deals Page purchases, this would go to help support HomeTheaterForum.

If enough people are interested, we should be able to get this price. Unfortunately, they've only given us a short notice, so I need to get kind of a head count by tomorrow morning.

If you're interested, please let me know by posting in this thread. Posting does not mean you're committing to any sort of order, but that you are seriously interested.

    Thanks!

    Gregg:

The deal is on. We're basically getting the entire stock. HAHA.

You can read the details here:

    http://www.hometheaterforum.com/deals/deals.php

It's going to be from Planar. Differences between Sharp LC-20B2UA and Planar XP20SSA-01? The LCD panel itself is the same, manufactured by Sharp (their proprietary long life 60,000 hour ASV Black TFT with low refection coating). Besides minor case differences, The Planar has a higher brightness at 450 nits, compared to 430 nits. It also has a full 3 year parts & labor warranty instead of merely a 1 year like Sharp. Same built in TV tuner, 170 degree H/V viewing angles. Can be wall mounted.

Sorry, that deal ended in the beginning of June. I may be able to get the price down near that level again if people are want them.
