Two forgotten United Artists Musicals from the Fifties that I would buy without hesitation have yet to be released on DVD.

They are,

"TOP BANANA" with Phil Silvers

and

"GENTLEMEN MARRY BRUNETTES" with Jane Russell and Jeanne Crain. (Anamorphic and Stereo please)

MGM-UA at times seem to struggle with titles, so I suggest that these 2 important Musical titles be given some thought.

Both were announced for Laserdisc some years back but neither materialised.

The 1969 version of "Goodbye, Mr. Chips" is now with Warner Brothers due to their acquisition of the Turner library. They'd probably give it better treatment than MGM would've had the title stayed there.

Sincerely,

John Kilduff...

I'd like this version of "Goodbye, Mr. Chips" to be released on DVD also.
