    DUNE: 2-Disc Special Edition
The running time is 177 minutes, so what cut is this? I'm not an expert on this film, but I know there are a few different cuts out there. Lynch's cut is the theatrical cut at 137 minutes, according to the IMDb; the 6-hour cut merely being a myth. This 2-disc really ought to be the uncut 137-mintute version with all violence restored.

    BLUE VELVET: 2-Disc Special Edition

I have the region 1 edition from MGM, which is a very good edition.

A SE of Lost Highway would be great, of course.

That 2-DVD DUNE set sounds like the TV version (the shorter run time having to do with PAL speed up). The fact that it's in 2.35 is interesting -- but as has been discussed previously, though, I hope it's not the 4:3 TV frame being cropped to fake 2.35 (since the TV cut was done *for* TV, I would think a lot of work would go into restoring the 2.35 frame of those added scenes, etc.)

A 2-disc set of Blue Velvet which looks decidedly inferior to the excellent 1 disc set found in R1 and R4. Pass.

wasnt it mentioned elsewhere that the 177 mins listed on the UK set is TOTAL TIME-the film @ 131mins + the bonus stuff? (another 46 mins of extras)
