I need to buy a two channel amp to power Paradigm Studio 40s in my living room.

My main amp is a Rotel 1095 for my 5.1 HT.

I like "warm" more than I like "bright".

Any thoughts, particularly regarding tube amps, would be appreciated.

Jim, You should give a listen/look to the new Hybrid Digital amp from PS Audio. I just received mine to use for 2 channel music and it pairs up beautifully with my Nautilus 804s. I couldn't be happier. Plus, you get a 30 return option and amazing customer support and a great price!
Here are the specs:

Jim - I've found a great deal on a Rotel RB 951MkII. Its 50 watts X 2. Not sure if this is enough power for your 40's?? Its been discontinued, but a Rotel dealer here in Los Angeles indicated he has a few new ones left over. If your interested, let me know and I'll check the availability, and let you know. Maybe if we both buy one, we'll get even more of a discount. As it is he quoted me $250. Retail was $450.
