Hey guys. I just upgraded my home theater speakers (and sub), and I was wondering if I could use my "old" parts to make a 2.1 set-up for my PC.

The obvious answer would be to run a wire from my mini jack to a receiver, HOWEVER I would like to do this without spending any $$$...well like under $20. And I don't have a spare receiver.

What cheap solutions can you think of?

Well you don't need to have a spare reciever if you can move your computer to the same area where you have your only reciever. Then you only need the cable which converts stereo mini cable to the phono. Im sure you can find that cable for 20 bux. I have a monster cable one that cost me 40 bux but monster cable just costs more.
