    Three John Frankenheimer movies:

    THE CHALLENGE (1982)
    THE FOURTH WAR (1989)
    and most glaringly, the gritty-as-hell
52 PICK-UP (1986), which is up there with FROM BEYOND and NIGHT OF THE CREEPS in my most wanted list.

I'd like to see the underrated BELIZAIRE THE CAJUN (1986) and APARTMENT ZERO (1989) as well.

Thanks for mentioning the 80s Movies Rewind. I write for that website! As a matter of fact, I wrote the following pages:

    -"8 Million Ways To Die"
    -"Pass The Ammo"
    -"Penn & Teller Get Killed"
    -"Private School"
    -"Stewardess School"
    -"Switching Channels"
    -"Valet Girls"

I like these movies and I want them all on DVD. I would love to see Sony release "Stewardess School", "Switching Channels" and "Valet Girls"...After all, how many versions of "Black Hawk Down" does the world need, anyway?

    Sincerely,

    John Kilduff...

And by the same token, it would be nice to see a first-time release of "Private School" from Universal instead of a 3rd release of "Scarface" and a 5th version of each "American Pie" movie.

    Updated the first post.

I own the 3-Disc Deluxe Edition of Black Hawk Down. I'm also going to get the SuperBit for the DTS track, it did win an award for best sound. I'm not even going to buy the Extended Version of it.

"I would love to see Sony release "Stewardess School"

ABSOLUTELY AGREED....wow, what a funny fu&#&#&ing comedy...Donny Most is simply hilarious in this, and it has always been a closet favorite of mine since I wore out my cable-taped VHS copy....I second seeing this come to DVD, as well. Took "Thank God Its Friday" forever to come to this format, so I dont know...

"After all, how many versions of "Black Hawk Down" does the world need, anyway?"

Indeed John; going to address this in the next post.

Indeed Ray, dont bother with this "extended cut" as the best version of this film (outside of the Deluxe Edition which you own, which is noteworthy if for the historical information and extras) is definitely the Superbit edition, which I own after selling Columbia's first single disc barebones version; the DTS audio on this version is amazing and you can hear the difference between it and the Dolby Digital audio from the first release and the Deluxe (which is a carryover) almost immediately.
