This series had a lot of signatues sounds. When Spider Man swings by a very particular sound was used, plus the jazzy scores really added to the series. These better be restored or the whole operation is doomed to fail.

When Saban remastered the 1980's Dungeons & Dragons cartoon, they made new beginning and end credits with a new theme song. The original credits were discarded. The guts of the cartoon in the middle were left intact. (tangent #53: I hope D&D makes it to DVD.)

Anyways, the article did not mention the 60's Spiderman coming to DVD, and probably just meant that it'll be remastered for TV syndication.

oscar that is exactly the same as the other link. same news on a diferent web site. but that for that also included some news on the new series comming some day.
