I just bought my DVD (SONY 655) that has 192/24, and I have a Marantz SR6200 which has 96/24 D/A Conversion.

What benefits do you get on a higher D/A Conversion, between 192/24 and 96/24, can I notice any diference, or in which cases I will notice any difference?

Do you think is the difference will be worth to upgrade to an SR7200 which has 192/24?

    Thanks for any replies,

Pablo, I still use a VSX-27TX with Burr Brown 96k/24-bit D/A Converters. I'd rather wait and upgrade the receiver & sacd player together when a digital interface resolves the bass management issues & box of spaghetti connections.
With the amount of sacd & hybrids coming to market, my $'s are going in that direction. If money is not an issue or other reasons exist to upgrade to the SR7200 exist, then go for it. Wish I could give a qualified opinion on listening to higher frequencies but I'm obviously limited to 96k myself [IMG].
