Gee this dvd is great to finally have,the cover and disc art and extras
are pretty lame,But the transfer is what really matters and Bertollucci
and Storaro fans finally got two more great films .
After hearing the commentary on the Last Emperor ,which Bertollucci
really justs gives you a outline of the Film,I can't say I am that annoyed
that this dvd dosn't have one



Why it took so long for this and The Comformist to come out
is insane,I just hope The Spider's Stratagem comes out in my Lifetime
Last Tango and The Last Emperor need new Se's.Luna ain't great but
had a stunning print(one of the Best I can remember seeing)haven't
seen the Pal dvd

I've been trying to find this one locally but no one has it in stock...

I'd love to see The Last Emperor redone as the last version I saw was horrible...

Glad to hear that 1900 has a good transfer (I picked it up from Amazon) since The Last Emperor may be one of the worst in my collection. I hear that non-R1 releases are much superior. I might have to break down one of these days for one of the imports unless we start hearing about a redo of the R1 release.
