Saw a little bit about this in a thread a while back and couldn't remember the title to search for. Anyway, When watching a DVD with the WEGA (27FV17) in 16:9 enhanced mode, should the DVD player be set to output in 16:9 or 4:3 letterbox? I have it in 16:9. Might be a dumb question, but I just want to be sure.
By the way what's the proper lingo for 16:9? '16 by 9'?:D

Nathan-your DVD player must be set to 16:9. Also, you must use either the s-video connection or the component connection. If you try to use the rca composite connection, the 16:9 mode will be grayed out in the set-up menu.

Thanks for your help. I have the DVD player in 16:9 and use s-video. Just thought I'd be sure.

Thanks
