I have a pre owned 16-46PC+ on the way to go with my new Ascend 340 LCR's.

I live in an Apt, unsure of room size I am guessing 16x12x9.

I don't need sheer SPL, more intersted in the low low end.
Originally I was going to get a new 20-39Pci, but was able to get the 16-46pc+ foe same price shipped.

Any thoughts from the 16-46Pc+ owners?

Obviously, I will have to keep the gain down a bit.

I raely have my Pio 1014 louder then -22 or so (unless source is real low, like HD on cable).

Well, didn't think it would happen this soon, but I am now in the SVS club.
Also in Ascend club as of late last week and didn't see that coming either.
    Damn upgradeitus.
Well, good week for my HT anyway [IMG]

Welcome to the SVS Club. I own dual 16-46CS+. As long as you don't wan't sheer SPL levels, the 16-46+ will be a good choice. Mine are flat down to 13hz in my room. I got 2 so I could have the depth and still reach reference levels.

You may want to warn your neighbors. Those low frequencies will rattle things. You may also want to invest in a Gramma pad. I have mine on them and it really helps control vibrations. Mine are on hardwood floors, and without the pads they would rattle everything so much that they would walk across the floor.

    Already have a subdude.

Thanks Brian. Def not intersted in reference level SPl (yet) :)

Not realy worried about new nieghbors after they BLASTED their music this weekend 9and their 3 kids stuffinto 2 bedroom apt) constantly stomp at all hours of the day :)

That's something that helped me sell the BIG sub idea to my wife :-

    Thanks.

I do have it EQ'd to help tame room responses in the higher frequencies. But the low end was naturally flat and rolles off at 13-14hz.

Thanks Brian. I do have a BFD so I am looking forward to tuning that bad boy up when I get it (going to use that eq wizard proggie) and auto dump it into my bfd.
