My home theater installer has run 16/4 speaker wire for my system. My question is: will there be any substantial (or noticable) sound degradation by using the 16/4 wire instead of 12.

The speakers are B&W Signature 7 in-wall (about 4 ft. run from receiver) and B&W CCM80 in-ceiling (about 20 ft. run from receiver). The sub is about a 22 ft. run from the reciever.

Also, the Sig 7 speakers can be bi-wired. Should I do this?

    Thanks in advance.

    1)no

2)if the wires are already in place you can if you feel like it. biwiring will effectively dbl the gauge of the wires however the audible benefit is quite debatable.

what're you running for the sub?

I believe it is standard, interconnect wire -- RG6 sounds familiar. It also has the 16/4 wire running to it.
