1300 JBL Northridge or 1100 Athena Technologies? (1 Viewer)

I am considering now through Best Buy's financing plan of purchasing my full speaker system. Now, its only a $200 difference but that one is great in the posisition I am in. I am only 2 months into making monthly payments of $40 on my 27-inch Sony WEGA Flat Screen and now I want to purchase these but I have to convince my parents. I figured it out. The JBL's would have me paying $25 a week while the Athena's only $17. Which is again not a big difference but enough to possibly sway my parents who would probably put up a fight with the $1300 system. Now my question:

Would the Athena Technologies System be as good as the JBL System consdiering the price difference?
