Can anyone tell me if what i am seeing is an artefact or not please. This is in regards to the region 2 version.
In chapter 11 (seconds before chapter 12) there is a long pan of one of the house's corridors heading towards a piece of machinery or a boiler or whatever! Just before the camera pans to the right there appears to be a slight jump as if a frame has been missed out. Does anyone know if this is intentional or a fault of the disc. It is hard to spot but it's there. I know the movie is shot in a documentary style but there does not seem any reason for this particular movement in the scene i mentioned. Could anyone have a look at this scene and tell me their opinion please?

Region 2 belongs in the Regional DVD Area. Maybe you'd have more luck there.

If it's any consolation, it does it in my copy, too.

I think it's just an (almost subliminal) effect, to create mood.
