To Catch A Thief and Roman Holiday are mine. And it will not take much convincing for me to get the other two.

Sunset and To Catch are definite must-haves for me. I'll think about Roman Holiday.

Awesome ! I wonder if the three classic titles Sunset Boulevard, To Catch a Thief and Roman Holiday will be getting the Lowry treatment (there was a rumor that Lowry was doing some work for Paramount). I have waited for these three titles for a long time and Paramount finally delivers !

Roman Holiday is one of my all-time favorite films, and I've been waiting desperately for it to be released since Paramount released a handful of Audrey titles a year or so ago. I even bought a Hong Kong import of the movie, I love the movie so much. Can't wait to get this new release.
To Catch A Thief and Sunset Blvd are also going into my collection.

Well, I'm definitely down for Sunset Blvd (which I've seen a gazillion times) and Roman Holiday (which I've never seen).
Not entirely sure about the other two.
    But excellent news!!! [IMG]

    Good news - thanks Paramount.

BTW, keep an eye on any local theater that runs classic films - there are supposed to be several screenings around the country of Sunset Boulevard at the time of the release.

Great news! I guess Paramount finished the restoration on To Catch A Thief? I heard it was in very bad shape prior to restoration....
It's going to be a very expensive 3rd quarter! [IMG]

funny no one else has remarked on Italian Job yet. Brit caper movies not to your taste? [IMG]
or have the die-hard fans already pre-ordered the R2 version coming out on 26/8? (or should I say 8/26?) a quick comparison with amazon UK shows that there's a commentary and 3 documentaries, apparently same as R1, but it also says that these "dovetail into a 68-minute `making of' featurette". I suppose this means in effect if you combine the three they run 68 mins and are _like_ a "making of" featurette, not that there's yet another one.

A second vote for THE ITALIAN JOB, of which I already ordered the UK R2 disc. Why wait till November when I can have it so much sooner? As for the others, I'll certainly rent TO CATCH A THIEF and SUNSET BOULEVARD, but don't need to own them.
