I realize that 1080p technology is still new and that there are few rear projection sets available. Does any one know if there are any current 1080p front projection models yet? I am looking to buy a 1080p projector and a 120" stewert screen to go with it. If dvd can look great on a 120" screen just imagine how great Blu-ray HD will look on that same screen [IMG] . Obiously the goal is to have the best image for the money.

This is my current upgrade schedlue:
Blu-ray HD Player (Sony ES, Pioneer Elite or Denon once they make one).

    HD Satalite Reciever

    1080p Projector
(Possible brands I am considering -
Runco & Vidikron). Any recomendations for less exspensive models and brands would be appreciated. As long as the model can perform just as well as the Runco or Vidikron.

Yes they have been around for quite some time. The sony Ruby (vw100) is under $10K and is quite excellent. the Qualia and the JVC HD2K were both about $30K and have been around for some time, but the Ruby handily bests them. There will be 1080p native DLP displays out in the near future as well. There is no pricing information really that I am aware of about those, at least the marantz.

Also, CRTs have been doing 1080p for more than a decade.
