I was looking at the pioneer website and couldn't find anything in the product section for the 1014. Anyone know if they are phasing it out... hopefully for somthing slightly better and not worse?

The new 1015 but of course....

That is why there are some really good deals going for the 1014 these days.

I don't think it is quite available as of yet....

Many have been waiting for it to come out though.

The replacement for the 1014TX is the 1015TX and is now available at OneCall.

1014s don't weight under 20lbs. They weight like over 35lbs.

Are the 1015 worth $150 over the 1014?

I don't know. I do want it though but I just recieved my 1014 yesterday. I haven't even opened the box so I wonder if I can just exchange it??? I got it from J&R but they aren't showing the 1015 on their site.

Damn, and I just spent $300+ plus to get my 1014! What is the difference between THX Select 2 and THX Select? Does the 1015 have 5.1 analog input or 7.1?

When a new "model" comes out its always closer to list price. After a few months, the price will be just about 450$. Early adopters don't mind paying more to be first.
