Sorry if this has been posted before. I know it's not really DIY, but I ordered the PE 10" titanic kit, and it should be here tomorrow. Should I fill it with poly, or will the eggcrate stuff it comes with be good enough? If I should fill, how much? I bought it because my Polk PSW 350 was not musical, so I'd like it to be as clear as possible. I know it was designed by a "guru" but does that mean I should just screw it together and call it done?

just built it as is and then listen for a while....if you want a little more extension and a little bit less upper bass, then try adding about 0.5-1 lb of polyfill.

I had one and wound up using 10oz. of polyfill, no egg crate. Nice little sub!
