What are your top 10 DVDs in your library?
DVDs that you would purchase if your entire library was lost for some reason.
Thanks,
Gary

Ultimate Superman Collection (14 Discs) - Yeah, I know it's not out yet, but just from the looks of it, I know it's going to be the most extensive DVD package ever!

Lord of the Rings Trilogy - Extended Edition Gift Sets - A couple of days worth of commentaries, endless hours of documentaries, and the movies are great too! Plus, WETA collectibles are always a plus.

Star Wars Saga (10 Discs) - I'm just counting the entire saga with this one. They're all superbly designed DVD's and my favorite series of films.

Adventures of Indiana Jones - Beautiful transfers. Engaging 5.1 remixes. A fantastic three hours of documentaries and featurettes. And a nice package to boot!

E.T. - Ultimate Gift Set - Everything and the kitchen sink. Both versions of the film. A disc full of extras, including a concert with John Williams! The CD soundtrack. And a full sized hardcover book chronicling the making of the film. A release for a single film doesn't get much better than this.

King Kong - Collector's Edition Tin (1933) - Beautiful restoration and commentary. Fascinating documentary. What puts this one over the top is the featurette on Jackson's crew recreating the Spider-Pit sequence and the postcards and reproduction of the premiere booklet. The packaging is great as well.

Ultimate Matrix Collection - Limited Edition Gift Set - I personally think this one tops the Alien Quadrilogy with its exhaustive documentaries on literally every aspect of the production of these three films. Not a single crew member is not interviewed from the looks of it. The glass packaging and Neo bust are awesome as well.

War of the Worlds - 2-Disc Limited Edition (2005) - Perhaps the best documentaries on a Spielberg film. And the DTS track is the best I've heard on DVD. The film was a huge surprise for me and it's now one of my personal favorites.

Jaws - 30th Anniversary Edition - MONO! Finally the original mono track gets released on DVD and it sounds loads better than the remixed DD and DTS 5.1 tracks. The full-length two hour documentary is here as well. And a 14-minute interview with Spielberg on the set is great. It's probably my favorite film of all time and this package does the film justice.

Sin City - Recut, Extended, Unrated - Superb presentation. Fun and informative extras. And I love watching each of the stories seperately with the bonus footage integrated.

Batman Begins - Two-Disc Deluxe Edition - Stellar transfer and a pulse pounding DD 5.1 track bring the Dark Knight to life. And the featurettes are very informative and entertaining.

Okay, that's like...11. :P

These are in no order, I could never place a single movie with a #1 choice

Looney Tunes Golden Collections
Clerks.
Pulp Fiction
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Chasing Amy
Nightmare Before Christmas
Lost in Translation
King Kong (1933)
2001: A Space Odyssey
Gone with the Wind

That's a hard list to make. I'd be more tempted to make a must have of Director and Groups Collections which would look something like this.

Tim Burton
Stanley Kubrick
Kevin Smith
Quentin Tarantino
Monty Python and individual director efforts
Looney Tunes Golden Collection
Definitive Twilight Zone
Robert Rodriguez
Christopher Nolan
Gus Van Sant
