10.5' x 17.5' Room - How much/little sub is enough? (1 Viewer)

Really interested in sticking with the Paradigm line of speakers - local dealer has the PDR8v3 on special right now.

For the size of room could I expect to be happy with it matched with Titan's on the front and osmething comparable at the rear?

Any other suggestions?

I would at least move to the PDR10, but in the price range, you might as well look at the new SVS PB-10...(if duties to not raise the cost too much). That is not a huge room, but if you get a decent sub now, you won't have to reconsider that portion of your system for a lot longer.

Thanks John - unfortunately my experience with Duties/Shipping is that it makes just about any head-to-head match up for heavy expensive equipment look pretty ugly.

I'll just have to work on the WAF to try and clear another $100 in the budget to get the 10...

Went with the PDR-10... more than enough for the room and loving it!
