I just realized last night while viewing my sony wega 300 series and my old 13"(?) mitsubishi (one located in first floor bedroom, the other in living room...both can be seen at same time if i just move my head) that the sony is missing a tiny portion of the vertical picture..both top and bottom when compared to the same broadcast on the little mits. The mits, though, is missing a small amount horizontal picture that I can see the sony getting - again on similar broadcasts.

    Normal?

One obviously has more overscan on the sides, and the other must have more overscan at the top and bottom.

It's normal to have some amount of overscan.
