1 speaker or 2 for ES and EX (1 Viewer)

I just ordered a Kenwood vr6070 and I'm a little confused about how to set up the 6th speaker or speakers for listening to ES or EX. I have not received it yet but I viewed the owners manual on the internet. The owners manual suggests using 2 speakers for the rear 6th channel surround but the manual shows only one speaker output for this option on the back of the receiver. How can I hook up 2 speakers as they suggest? Is anyone here using 2, 6th channel speakers? Is it a noticable difference over 1 center only? Any advice is appreciated.
