Welcome to the forum but your post is disrespectful and does not welcome civil discourse. Please read our Forum Rules. Thank you.

That's got to be a troll account, if not a bot. Insisting that Octopussy is "one of the best Bond films ever made, by all accounts. No one has ever said it's boring."

C'mon. No way that's serious.

Not a big deal, but is the digital code is exclusive to Fandango at Home?

At present, it looks like my redemption has not propagated to any of the other MA participants I use, although FaH is a participate in MA.

Why I found it somewhat confusing is that the download sheet in the box directs you to the WB redemption page, where it shows the MA list of participants, but you are then automatically taken to FaH for actual redemption.

This is of course an MGM title, and if memory serves, MGM was never part of MA. But MGM is how owned by Amazon, whose Prime is a part of MA. So, an Amazon owned MGM title, redeemed via a WB page, is only available via FaH. No doubt that makes perfect sense to someone in the hallowed halls of the studios.

Small beer at the end of the day. I generally prefer to playback my downloads via the AppleTV+ app on my AppleTV box. The other MA participant apps that I have don’t support Atmos on the ATV, whereas AppleTV+ does.
I’ve been screaming about the lack of digital uniformity for years. Let’s face it, the entertainment industry just doesn’t care and this is another example of a home video format that they screwed up because of the lack of uniformity in their digital system.

I will not redeem my digital code until I find out if those FAH digitals upgrade to 4K/Dolby Vision.

James Bond saves the world dressed as a clown. Surely the nadir of his career.

Fandango at Home and the Movies Anywhere app both support Atmos on the Apple TV.
Not on my rig unless something has changed recently. That said, I will take another look. I very much prefer the AppleTV+ UI for my library, but it does look like FaH has more of my titles than the other MA apps.

Edit: Results of a very limited experiment using Bladerunner 2049…

AppleTV+ - Atmos
FaH and MA - MultiCh PCM

Are they streaming from the same source files? No idea. All three services do say that they have 4K/Atmos, and I know of no setting in any of the apps to enable Atmos.

I do not have a 4K display. Is it possible that MA and FaH see that and are streaming from a different source file? Again, no idea, But AppleTV+ has consistently played Atmos when the content is said to have it, while the others do not, so that is the extent of my knowledge.

Yes, you need to check your system because Dolby Atmos is supported on FAH and MA apps on my Apple TV devices.

AppleTV 4K box. You have to enable the box to stream Atmos to start with, which I have done. Atmos does work for Disney+ and AppleTV+. I have not tried the Prime app among the MA supported services.
When you go to your Apple TV 4K box settings. You should see the following:

If you’re not seeing Audio Format: Auto, Atmos Available. Then you should click on Audio Format and change your settings to the following photo:

Again, that is and has been set correctly. If not, AppleTV+ and Disney+ would not provide Atmos.

I appreciate the help, but let’s just file this under “me” problems. Obviously some apps play nice for me, and some do not. Sorry to derail the thread.

In A View to a Kill, Roger Moore's double was on screen more than Roger Moore.
He made this comment to some of us at the Premiere when pointing to a large poster advertising "starring Roger Moore As Ian Fleming's James Bond". He said the poster should say "starring Roger Moore's stunt man as Roger Moore as James Bond". Great guy and a wonderful sense of humor. We miss him!

Thanks for posting this. I discovered the Chroma setting on my Apple TV was lower than it should be. Corrected it now.

Looking forward to watching From Russia With Love tonight.

Moore is my favorite Bond. I can easily watch all 7 of his films. For Connery 1/2 of them I really like and the others are just ok for me.
