'Best Buy'
and
'Circuit City'

Are offering to customers if purchased in stores??

Best Buy is offering a "Girls of Bond" DVD and a coupon book.

Up here in Toronto, Best Buy is offering the free DVD but it's advertised as a DVD offering up the opening sequences of all the Bond films. Sounds like a good thing, but I think I'd prefer the Bond women version. If I'm lucky, maybe it's all on this extra DVD.

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL when purchasing this DVD. The Widescreen/Fullscreen description is not very noticable on the box. Also, some braniac at Best Buy put the pricing stickers on the bottom of the case leaving "screen" showing. I "saved" several unaware consumers when I picked it up today.

And does the US BB "free disc", have the 'Canadian'; Opening to "ALL" the Bond films?

I just got my copy of Die Another Day today at Best Buy, along with The Animatrix and T2 Extreme, and I was able to get the free DVD as well. That should be pretty cool to watch, especially Halle Berry... Her alone gets two !

I watched the US version of the Best Buy bonus disc. The "openings" extra is not on there. I also got the Circuit City extra and it's not on there either.

Media Play is also offering a totally different freebie DVD (also doesn't included the "opening" extra). Walmart is offering an enhanced CD with tracks from the Best of Bond CD.

There's a thread about this problem at DVDTalk. Nobody there has reported receiving it from an online pre-order. How could they screw up so badly?!

Funny thing with the Best Buy disc....

All the documentaries on the DVD are also presented in Quicktime when you play it on your DVD-ROM.
