Zap2it.com - Halle Berry Confirms She'd Make Bond Girl Jinx a Female Spy Franchise
Whatever happened to the great Bond Girl names of yesteryear, like Holly Goodhead, Octopussy, Pussy Galore, Honey Rider, Kissy Suzuki, Plenty O'Toole, etc. etc. Now they all have boring, non-un pc names, like Jinx and Christmas Jones. Where has all the fun gone?
Sam, I said un pc names, not completely tasteless and revolting
Okay, I'll go ahead and say it: give her the code number: 00
It'll look better on a t-shirt.
Instead of "Double O" they should call her "Duh Blow."
Now, I ain't touching that!
Wasn't the same rumor around for Michelle Yeoh's character from 'Tomorrow Never Dies'? And that never materialized either, so color me highly doubtful.
well, this apparently isn't a rumor...it's been confirmed by jinx herself.
I'd rather see Michelle Yeoh. Too bad it takes looking good in a bikini to get a spinoff, rather than some actual ass-kicking ability.
Angeline Jolie gets an Oscar, makes Tomb Raider series.
Halle Berry gets an Oscar, makes 007-spinoff series.
Perhaps Kidman winning an oscar and starring in Bewitched is next.
If Halle Berry was the last movie star on Earth, and watching her film would bring about a better understanding of my remaining fellow man, bring a sense of peace and wonderment to my world, and generate within me the reserve necessary to soldier on, I'd not watch her film. Anyone who was unable to be at least polite about being cast in X-Men gets no love from me.
I won't judge now... maybe she will really kick ass in the next Bond film. Hell, if it is "Bond" I am THERE... but Jinx is currently a maybe...
Why not have Halle and Michelle Yeoh as their respective characters together in one movie?
They could do a Vs.-type movie with both of those women.
BTW, what is her character's full name? Jinx isn't double-entendre enough.
Maybe they should just make a Bond Girl name out of Halle Berry's real name. A few suggestions:
Anita Berrymy Johnson
