I found these two reviews of the new Seijun Suzuki DVDs from the british Label “Second Sight” on the british DVD-Times website: Tokyo Drifter http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?...650&story=2807 Branded to Kill http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?...651&story=2808 Looks like they are superior to the Criterion transfers and they’re also anamorphic. Has anybody both versions of the DVDs and can compare them (colors, details, scratches, subtitles etc.). What’s about the interviews on the Criterion discs. Are they worth the inferior picture quality? Damn! I don’t know, which version I should buy!
