During the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival, Spielberg announced in a speech that he was "mounting a large production" at the premium network, HBO, to turn Stanley Kubrick 's Napoleon into a seven-part limited series. Spielberg is producing the series in co-operation with Christiane...
Anybody watching this Western series? I have only seen the first episode and am a bit late to the party on it but episode one looked promising enough to continue. Done in the style of Spaghetti Westerns it looks like fun. Dark and dirty fun but hey, that's how they do this kind of thing.
I only bought this to watch the first season which I had never seen when first run. Discs are like new. No scratches or fingerprints. Shrink wrap is still on the box. Will ship FREE Media Mail within the USA. If required faster, you can pay the exact price upgrade.
I See it listed on Amazon Prime. It can be viewed through IMDB Channel with ads. So am I understanding correctly that my prime membership includes access to IMDB TV? If so, it is nice to see Dallas on Streaming
I couldn't find a forum that really seemed to fit this as it covers movies and TV series so it's here.
The discussions in the "For Those Who Still Think Physical Media Has No Place in the 21st century..." thread turned to SF and the quality, or lack of, in the past 20 or so years.
I *love*...

I watched episode 5 of the new Disney HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL tv series last night. I was horrified at the continual hand held cameraman who could not keep the camera still. It was like watching a film during an earthquake. Not a good image for Disney

The Lost in Space and Batman blu-rays were wonderful.
I'm sitting here this morning watching Simon & Simon's season 3 episode called Bloodlines. It made me think about how many TV series (excluding westerns and Mr. Ed) had horse (or horse related) episodes. I think it's almost used as much as "the single mother syndrome"
Here's a few I can think...
I'm a big fan of Ray Bradbury's short stories/novellas & have also enjoyed the filmed adaptations based on his work (notably The Martian Chronicles mini-series, Something Wicked this Way Comes, etc.). So, I was surprised when I recently found out about the anthology TV series "The Ray Bradbury...
I have seen pictures when I search online. It looks like a Limited Edition for the Tammy TV Series possibly Region 1 put out by Universal , but I've never seen it sold anywhere. I know there was a Region 2 release some time ago. Can anyone help me out with this?

I just heard about the recent & unexpected passing of actor Luke Perry. Very sad news. Though I was never a 90210 fan, I did really enjoy Perry's underrated sci-fi TV series Jeremiah, which ran only two short seasons (2002-2004). I saw both seasons on the DVD sets years ago. Here's a review...
I want to purchase a complete series DVD set that that has been hard to find but I've found new copies from a third party seller on Amazon with a 99% approval rating for $60.75 delivered and Deep Discount for $75 delivered. If I ordered it from the Amazon seller it would be cheaper but if it is...

I was interested in picking up the Combat TV series and found individual seasons on Amazon from LA Entertainment with a 2018 release date. Does anyone know if they are a legitimate studio and/or if this is a legitimate release? I've never heard of them before.
I just finished watching (on one of our free -to-air tv channels) Series one of the brilliant French television show called NU (NUDE)

Does anyone have a clue as to when either SUSPICION, the Alfred Hitchcock co-produced series,
or THE THIN MAN, with Peter Lawford and Phyllis Kirk, might be coming to DVD? I know that there's
a very fuzzy Public Domain version of SUSPICION: Season One out there, but I gather it's all but...
Among the television shows starring actor Roy Thinnes, find:
The Long, Hot Summer (1965-1966) as Ben Quick

The Psychiatrist (1970-1971) as psychiatrist Dr. James Whitman
Which one you pick as your favorite one and why?
Given that this is for the upcoming Disney streaming service, I wasn't sure whether to put this thread here, since it's being categorized as a TV series, or in the streaming media section, since it will be streaming. But...
At this point, I'd say the chances are pretty slim that we'll ever see official releases of Dragnet (1950s version), Seasons 2 & 3 of One Step Beyond or more of The Jack Benny Program (apart from Shout's Jack Benny: The Lost Episodes, which I already own).
Sure, miracles can occasionally...
I watched the first episode yesterday as I'm trying out Acorn TV for a free 7 Day trial. Anyhow, I see this TV series is selling for $59.99 on Blu-ray at B&N so I'm contemplating whether to buy it or not. I liked the first episode, but I didn't love it. I'm going to watch another episode...
