I agree with roxy1927. This was not the kind of musical being done at the time. The humor and subject matter was completely alien to them. It was considered too "artsy."

Can't wait. This film is dynamite. Gene Kelly and Judy Garland at their peak. And the Nicolas Brothers are outstanding as always! Great songs and Garland's performance of YOU CAN DO NO WRONG is breathtaking.
