My order number 1936 arrived just now, a day earlier than the shipping notification estimated. The discs are hard to tell apart from the slipcase, tiny designations on the back cover lower right differentiate the regular Blu-ray from the Ultra HD, but the UHD is in a black case while the Blu-ray...

My August order just resulted in shipping notification today, so it looks like they shipped preorders or earliest date orders, and now they’re shipping everybody else in a large batch.

I was tardy ordering and put it through in early August; no notification of shipment as yet.

That was a very encouraging review, and all or more than could reasonably have been hoped for. Perhaps the slings and arrows of (legitimate) complaints will now be replaced by kudos and appreciation.

Someone had already posted the email update by the time I received mine and checked on here to see if others had gotten it. So it does suggest it wasn’t a blanket email but individually staggered in times it was sent. I believe I’ve gotten all the random updates, as folks would typically comment...

You’d think after all the negative PR this situation has engendered, they would at last try to make communications about it now it’s finally being made ready for shipment more carefully handled, since emails don’t cost anything.

I received the email, others apparently have not been receiving the already sporadic communications. I sincerely hope the shipping goes smoothly and nothing gets lost in translation. I saw this as a child at some friends’ aunt and uncle’s house. They were the first family we knew who got a color...
