Just watched Soul tonight on Disney+ with my eleven year old son and we loved it. It was original, engaging and funny, although I didn't think it quite reached the emotional highs of some of my favourite Pixar films. It reminded me of Inside Out too. But I will absolutely be purchasing the 4K UHD.

The director, Pete Docter, has directed the Pixar animated feature films Monsters, Inc. (2001), Up (2009), Inside Out (2015), as well as Soul (2020). I haven't seen Soul yet, but I think Up is one of the best animated films ever made - particularly the first 15 minutes. I saw it in 3D...
