Yes, I noticed the subtitle issue on the last episode of disk 5. I was able to quickly turn it off by clicking the "subtitle" button on the remote, but it does appear to be some type of authoring glitch.

I previously watched the first episode with no issue, but i will try disk 5 and 6 tonight.

I didn't have this issue on my computer, but i will check this evening from my video player.

The impression I got from an email from LGL is that the continued selling of the product through Walmart has to do more with whether Walmart wants to continue than LGL. So if sales aren't good enough it will be Walmart pulling the plug, not LGL. That's at least my understanding.

I just received my season 2 set of the Rifleman. I was critical of the video quality with the season 1 release, and have been waiting to see what corrections they may have made for season 2. I am happy to say they listened. I will provide a full report with screen captures in a few days.

I did a quick check of each episode to see which contained intro's from Chuck Connor's, so I saw each opening sequence briefly. They were all the same, which I expected since this is just seasons 1. Unless you know it should be otherwise, in which I can check again.
