I did not mean to imply that the counterfeit discs are unplayable. Perhaps a misuse of the term "coasters" on my part.
I suppose that I could give the counterfeit set to some unsuspecting person, but I'd just as soon use the discs as coasters or skeet targets rather than give someone an...
I took Scott's advice and ordered the repackaged 2021 set from Deep Discount. It arrived today.
I was almost afraid to insert a disc into my optical drive for fear that this would be another counterfeit set consisting of single-layer discs. But it turned out to be a legit set of dual-layer...
I store my movies and TV as MKV files on digital storage devices; currently, a bunch of 5TB USB3 portable hard drives. I do have videos in high definition, but only for movies and TV that I absolutely love, such as the Dexter series.
As for the rest, it's always a trade-off between file size...
I was just trying to get the remastered Season 10 discs.
Unfortunately, the remastered discs were never given their own season-set release. You have to buy the complete box set in order to get the remastered Season 10 discs.
But it's become more trouble than it's worth.
I returned the $80 counterfeit set to eBay for a refund. By the way, thumbs up to eBay for very prompt Return service.
Then, I ordered a $130 set from a supposedly reputable Amazon seller.
The set arrived today. I tested the discs right away. Yep, you guessed it. Counterfeit. Single-layer...
In order to get the remastered Season 10 episodes, I decided to buy the repackaged box set (2021 release date).
I was surprised to discover that all of the discs are single-layer (an average of 4.35 GB per disc) rather than the dual-layer discs of the original single-season sets.
Steve may be a closet serial killer...
Someone made the same observation regarding Steve Douglas (Fred MacMurray) and the cast members of My Three Sons who disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

Perhaps my favorite freeze-frame in the series is from 604 "One Big Happy Family" - you're nearly there.
At the end of the episode, when McGarrett says, "Book 'em," Chin has this momentary look of distaste on his face when he realizes that he is the person who is going to have to process this...
The telephone-trace footage will be re-used again and again, sorry.
Any time that HPD does any sort of computer search, you'll see re-used footage of punch-card sorters, line printers.
That's the one!
It seemed as though Bruce Dern was always Quinn Martin's first choice to play a 'killer hillbilly' in The Fugitive. Even though Hawaii Five-O was not a Quinn Martin production, I wonder if the producers approached Bruce Dern for the role, before ultimately hiring Bo Hopkins?
Love your screencaps, Carab.
A favorite series from my childhood, I can remember many episodes quite clearly. The creepiest being Slim Pickens' family of killer hillbillies.
