Many Season One episodes don't include a cast sponsor commercial. Were these cut for summer reruns and lost or did some shows open without them? Or some were repeated?

I just read that the early seasons of the show had quirky sound effects. I don't know if they were there originally or added in syndication. However, Nelson would have probably had the separate audio elements to work with when the show went into syndication, making it easier to add things. I...

Wouldn't noise reduction simply make the ding muffled? I don't think it would be erased.
