I've been told the bronzing is not a problem and that if a disc loses it's rainbow flash then you have a problem! JB

The disc bronzing is no evidence that the disc will cease to play I've been told. The rainbow you get when you hold the disc up to the light is what you must look for, if that disappears you have problems! JB

I wonder what causes it? The condition seems to be slow acting but because we don't watch the discs very often by the time we come by for a second viewing it's usually already well into the disc! JB

Has anyone seen the slowly advancing cloud on the discs? It looks like finger prints but it's also like the breathing upon the surface to wife dust or debris and it has like tiny bubbles in it too! How long does it take to advance and how long till the disc completely stops working? JB

I've got some talent stuff on my Warner's Four For Texas disc and I can only access one or two of the names and it's always been like that! JB

I tried washing one of my cloudy discs a few weeks back but it didn't seem to change the opaqueness on it!!! JB

The disc turning orange, what real significance is there to that? I have a few that have changed colour but still seem to play okay...? JB

Sorry to hijack the thread but I've had problems with my Invaders, Believers set! The notorious subtitles which were supposed to have been corrected still turning up on one disc here in the UK but Paramount just ignore me! Think I've emailed them more than twenty times and yet nothing! JB
