At times I wonder how much the "tv on dvd" market has affected the off-network syndication market.

I must have been completely asleep during this "golden age". If I had known that cable channels did this type of syndication back in the 1990's, I probably would have been glued to the TV. :) (I didn't have cable consistently for many years).
