Sounds like the Walt Disney Company has decided to bring back Bob Iger. Have to say I'm a little surprised. Wonder what this news will do to the selection of potential new exclusive releases?

Fingers crossed! It's just odd that after getting so many requested titles within less than a year of each other, we've gone almost six months now without even a hint of anything. But hopefully David is right and there's just a delay for some unknown reason.
Has anyone heard if we will be getting any more new DMC blu-ray exclusives this year? After getting none in 2020, but then a bunch last year, I really thought the pandemic was the cause for the lack of releases. But after just Darby O'Gill and the Little People and The Gnome Mobile coming out...
Now that we're officially into a new year, does anyone think the Disney Movie Club will start releasing some truly exclusive blu-ray releases from the Walt-era back catalog or even from the 1990's-resurgence-era? Or in the months ahead will all we get to look forward to is the same 20th Century...
Honestly, at this point, I just wish they would announce something! Just so that we know something is on its way or that we all have something to look forward to. 2020 has just plain sucked, in so many ways. It would be nice to have something to look forward to. Please DMC? Give us an...
Agreed. I was sure hoping for an announcement of some kind today, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Sure wish we still had access to the DMR Coming Soon page. At least that provided somewhat of a heads-up whenever something exciting was coming. This "radio silence" stance we are...
No official announcement on the next title in the blu-ray exclusive line, but according to "Priscilla," a member of the team running the official Disney Movie Club Facebook page, we all should "keep watching" for one.
It also appears that the new shipments of The Black Hole are going out now too. I ordered a copy just towards the end of the last cycle along with several other items. I wondered if my order would be split into two shipments, but it didn't. Got confirmation that the whole thing along with The...
Not strange, exactly. Disney wants to capitalize on these songs and characters without stating explicitly where they came from. As long as they can sweep what they deem to be potentially racist under the rug, they will do it. But it's funny. There's way more racism in Gone With The Wind or Roots...
In response to your post, I just came across some very interesting information. I was browsing the Disney Movie Club website and came to the page advertising The Black Hole on blu-ray. It's showing as not available to own until 10/14. Apparently, Disney has recalled all of their existing product...
All great suggestions. I too would be thrilled to get any of these on blu-ray. Sadly, nothing regarding any of them has yet been announced, but just a few short weeks ago, the same could be said of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and In Search of the Castaways. There is always the hope that one or...
Just checked the Disney Movie Club and Disney Movie Reward websites for updates on potential blu-ray exclusives coming in the next few weeks. The new monthly cycle for February began today, but nothing seems to have been announced. Sure wish Disney would publicize something soon regarding 20,000...
While browsing the "Coming Soon" section on the "At Home" page on Disney Movie Rewards, I discovered that The Nutcracker and the Four Realms is scheduled to be the next big Disney 4K release.
If Disney is planning to release any exclusives, we probably won't hear about them until at least...
Honestly, I think Disney would be pleasantly surprised by how well releasing Song of the South on their new streaming service would play out. There are a lot more potential customers clamoring for its eventual release than there are those who aren't.
Glad to hear you and your lived ones are safe! That's the most important thing. :)
As far as the yellow border releases are concerned, yes, my kids were really excited about the 90's releases as well. But I'm more excited about the original Parent Trap and Saludos Amigos being released this...
I agree with you David. I truly hope another yellow border exclusive will show up on the site in the next week or so, but in the meantime, are you doing okay there in NC? That storm looks brutal on TV. Must say I'm a little worried for you. Hang in there!
Here are newest items posted on the DMR website. Might have to check one or two of these out. But they certainly aren't "exclusives," unfortunately.
Still no Follow Me Boys, That Darn Cat, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, or Darby O'Gill. Come on Disney. Don't let us down.
That's probably the title that most of us on HTF want the most. It is available digitally though on sites like iTunes, Vudu, AmazonPrime, and others. It looks beautiful! Sure wish DMC would offer it on blu-ray already. <_<
