I think it's time to face up to a very sad reality: if Disney were planning on releasing the originals, we'd have gotten an announcement by this point. They clearly have no interest. And IF they have any plans on ever doing it, and that's a big if, then the earliest we'll be seeing it is 2020...

There are lots of fan edits, bootleg albums, etc that I really, really want, but I live in mortal fear of legal repercussions. It's stupid given that God-knows how many people do it with impunity, but I still feel that nagging fear. God, I want to though.

Rumors about this have swirled like crazy since the Disney buyout. As I want this more than pretty much anything in the entire world and as an OOT fan, I've been burned way too many times, this sounds way too good to be true, and I'm skeptical.
