Just a slight correction - there were no "on-set" (no one used that expression back then, BTW - that started to be a thing in the 1990s - always "on the set" - but I guess in the 90s it was all about saving time by losing the "the") monitors back then. The guides were in the camera viewfinder...
What am I not comprehending here? There is a region-free Blu-ray that is of terrific quality. If someone is interested in the film, as darkrock seems to be, seems like the answer is to make a purchase immediately, as did many of us when it came out. So, what's the prob here? To wait for...
