    I hate to see another streaming service charging more for 4K/Atmos. Hopefully, the whole industry won't lean in this direction, but it wouldn't surprise me one little bit. I'm only an occasional subscriber to HBO Max, but at $20 a month, I'll be subscribing a LOT more occasionally than I do now...

    Yep. It's still going to be a Zack Snyder film, and all that that implies. ;) The question is, will it be better than what we got after Whedon's input on the film that was released?

    Personally, I strive to never judge a film before I've seen it based on someone else's subjective opinion. If I have even a passing interest in a movie, I'll watch it eventually and decide for myself.

    We've been watching His Dark Materials on HBO Max. While it looks fantastic most of the time, occasionally we'll get heavy macroblocking in dark scenes, but it's infrequent. There were a couple of instances in WW84 when I noticed a drop in resolution, but it looked fine for most of its run...
