The thing is, according to Jerry Beck, there are no knowledgeable people involved.
The new HD masters are real, they’re on HBO Max. A lot of missing cold openers and incorrect end credits though. At least The Big Move has been fixed.
Unfortunately this has just been confirmed to be the case. This set is only 10 discs, including the two movies.
Now we at least pray that they use BD-50s this time round instead of BD-25s. Good lord this is sad.
It’s just a poorly written sentence. The pre-order is up from WHV already and there’s international releases. They literally said at Comic-con that they weren’t working on it.

The first store-available Flintstones DVD release in years, and in the 60th anniversary year. I think whether or not it sells will speak volumes to those who make the decisions about future releases. If it bombs, as if they’re going to release a complete series Blu-Ray afterwards.

Hopefully WHV doesn’t handle The Flintstones. We were lucky with Scooby that the unmolested original remaster was available digitally in HD, but with The Flintstones, the Blu-Ray will be the only option available.
